Our Story
Dr. Nathan S. Bryan has been researching nitric oxide for decades. N1O1 developed its Nitric Oxide Activating Serum with a dual-chamber delivery system.
The N1O1 range includes skincare and supplements.

Nathan S. Bryan, Ph.D.
Founder and CEO
Dr. Bryan’s work focuses on molecular medicine and nitric oxide biochemistry.
He completed his B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed his post-doctoral training at Boston University School of Medicine in the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute. In 2006, Dr. Bryan was recruited to join the faculty at The University of Texas Health Science Center by Dr. Ferid Murad, a Nobel Prize winner known for his work with nitric oxide.Read Dr. Bryan’s biography and bibliography
Susan K. Shaffer
Co-founder & President
Susan Shaffer has over 30 years of corporate experience and a vast network of industry associations. Her unique brand of strategic business acumen, relationship, and management skills has helped high-profile companies like Lancome, Dell, 3COMM, and HumanN.
Ms. Shaffer worked with Dr. Bryan at a company dedicated to using nitric oxide in dietary supplementation. Her work at N1O1 focuses on product innovation.
